Obama announced $1.5 billion plan to stop foreclosure for 5 states

US President Obama announced a $1.5 billion plan to stop foreclosure for unemployed and underwater house owners in the tough strike states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, and Michigan.

The plan also will help house owners prohibited by second liens from receiving home loan modifications. This is the second moment the government has attempted to create the Home Affordable Modification Program further helpful for home owners.
